Plot

In the vibrant heart of Itaewon, a guest house by the name of "Waikiki" springs to life under the hopeful watch of three unlikely proprietors. There's Dong Goo, a magnet for misfortune with grand dreams of film direction; Joon Ki, an eccentric, paycheck-to-paycheck actor; and Doo Shik, a freelance writer whose best work is often procrastination. Despite their glaring inexperience, they're driven by the dream of financing their own film. The trio's dynamic soon expands with the addition of Dong Goo's sister, Seo Jin, the practical mind behind Waikiki's household affairs, and Yoon Ah, a single mother whose arrival, along with her enigmatic baby, is as unexpected as it is disruptive. To further stir the pot, Dong Goo's ex-flame, Soo Ah, adds a dash of tension to their already simmering living conditions. Welcome to Waikiki is a delightful chaos, a story of dreams, drama, and the surprising ties that bind within a curious household. Amidst the chaos, the residents navigate their shared space, kindling a camaraderie that's as bizarre as it is heartwarming. A laugh-a-minute journey, it's a pilgrimage to the hilarity that ensues when life and ambitions collide in the most unexpected ways.
