The River (2012)

The River is an adventure/mystery drama about Dr. Cole, a famous TV personality who does nature shows. He goes to the Amazon and never returns. His wife, family and crew members of his many documentaries decide to go looking for him and their journey is recorded documentary style by his former producer. The group has to overcome unexpected challenges and sometimes deadly circumstances along their journey up the river. Dr. Cole’s son is not very willing to go, but when his father’s emergency alarm unexpectedly goes off, he agrees to join his mother and the rest of the crew.
