Plot
In the world threatened by a lethal alien breed named the "Noise," Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou, who form the idol pair Zwei Wing, wield an ancient power hidden in their songs. This melody-fuelled strength activates "symphogears," archaic weapons shrouded in secrecy and unknown to the public. Amid a concert, when the Noise launch a devastating attack, Kanade bravely surrenders her life to shield young Hibiki Tachibana, consequently embedding a piece of her symphogear within the child, leaving Tsubasa in her wake of grief.
As the wheel of time turns two years forward, Hibiki finds herself ensnared once more in the Noise's assault. During an evacuation, she musters courage to save a little girl left behind, unknowingly triggering the dormant power of Kanade's symphogear within her. Still mourning the loss of her partner, Tsubasa must now accept this new reality, forming an unexpected alliance with Hibiki. Together, they must harmonize their abilities, standing as humanity's melodic shield against the discordant threat of the Noise.
