Sweet Revenge (2017)

In the heart of Hanjong High School, the unassuming 17-year-old Ho Goo Hee, whose name tragically echoes the word "fool," is a constant target for her peers' relentless bullying. The tender-hearted schoolgirl, played by Kim Hyang Gi, is also shackled by her familial duties at their modest chicken shop, and a recent heartbreak only further complicates her already turbulent adolescence. Amongst the sea of tormentors, two unexpected allies emerge - Ji Hoon, played by Park Solomon, a brooding yet popular figure who begrudgingly becomes her silent protector, and Jung Deok Hee, the lovably eccentric fanatic of K-pop idol Cha Eunwoo, who becomes Goo Hee's solitary friend. Her life takes an eerie twist when she stumbles upon the mystical "Revenge Note" app on her phone. The app holds an ominous promise - it vows vengeance against any named tormentor. Exhausted by her tormentors, particularly the dreaded "Zombie Club," Goo Hee succumbs to the allure of sweet revenge. Yet, she remains blissfully ignorant of the chaos that her actions may unleash. Amidst her tumultuous high school life, Goo Hee finds solace in her close-knit bond with her understanding brother, Ho Goo Jun, and his best friend, the adored K-pop sensation Cha Eunwoo. Their unwavering support becomes her beacon of hope, lighting her path during the darkest of times. As Goo Hee navigates through the labyrinth of adolescence, she must determine if the path of revenge will pave her way to freedom or merely complicate her life further. The tantalizing question remains: will Goo Hee's life begin to blossom, or will it spiral into an abyss of complications?
