However, this monumental achievement sparks a devastating war between Earth's dominant superpowers. Amid this chaos, the Freedom Space Corps assigns Kei Katsuragi, a skilled Orguss mecha-fighter pilot, with a perilous mission. He is to obliterate the elevator using a groundbreaking superweapon, the Space-Time Oscillation bomb that harnesses energy from the very essence of reality. The mission is executed, but the bomb's detonation triggers an unpredictable catastrophe — a fusion of divergent dimensions into a singular, composite universe. Marooned in this uncharted realm, Kei finds himself amidst an alien landscape populated by extraterrestrials and robots. This dimension is embroiled in its own power struggle, a fierce war between the militant Chilam and the nomadic Emaan race. Both factions perceive Kei as a Tokuiten, a unique entity possessing the potential to turn the tide of their war and rectify the dimensional anomaly. In this peculiar world, Kei must not only survive but also forge new alliances while rekindling old ones.
