In a realm of enchantment and bedtime fables, known as "Märchenland," a consortium of fairy tale creatures revel in harmony, their lives woven together by threads of joy. This haven of happiness is brutally disrupted when the malevolent emperor Pierrot unleashes his wrath, imprisoning the revered Queen and shattering the symbol of happiness - the Cure Decor, a radiant beacon of the Queen's scattered light of happiness. As the hope of Märchenland hangs in the balance, a determined fairy named Candy embarks on a quest to Earth. Her mission: to collect the scattered Cure Decor and to seek out the legendary protectors known as the Pretty Cures. Upon arrival, she encounters a young girl who pledges her allegiance to Candy's cause, setting in motion a quest to secure a "happy ending" for their world. Parallel to this, five preteen girls - Emily, Kelsey, Lily, April, and Chloe - are navigating their ordinary lives when they stumble upon an extraordinary destiny. They discover they're members of the glittering superhero squad, the Glitter Force. Thrust into a world beyond their wildest dreams, they must transform from average schoolgirls into extraordinary defenders of Earth, standing against the onslaught of fairytale villains. Their journey is fraught with challenges and they quickly realize that safeguarding Earth from the clutches of maleficent villains is an undertaking of epic proportions. Yet, the Glitter Force remains undeterred, their courage fuelled by an unyielding belief in the power of friendship. As the stories of the Pretty Cures and the Glitter Force intertwine, the fate of two worlds hangs in the balance.
