The decimation of a man-made virus provided the cover that an ancient race of vampires needed to drive humanity into servitude. They now serve as the secret masters of underground society and treat humans as slaves while still keeping their vampiric nature secret from the general population. 12-year old Yuichiro was planning an escape from an orphanage with his fellow orphans, but he's the only one who survives. He quickly finds himself in the company of the Moon Demon Company. After four years of training, he's ready to set out at the task of hunting vampires so he can get revenge for the death of his family.
