Enveloped in the enigmatic world of hikikomori, Sasami Tsukuyomi grapples with the unique challenge of being a high school freshman who hasn't stepped outside her home in weeks, possibly months. Navigating life through the lens of her computer screen, she employs her innovative "Brother Surveillance Tool", a digital window into the outside world, as she attempts to reconnect with society. Her primary lens into reality is her older brother, Kamiomi, her only family and an educator at the school she's expected to attend. Sasami's virtual life takes a surreal turn when she becomes entangled in the curious phenomenon of the Yagami sisters, a trio of peculiar characters who, for reasons unknown, seem to age in reverse. The sisters' inexplicable fascination with Kamiomi adds another layer of intrigue to Sasami's peculiar existence. As the veil between reality and the digital world begins to blur, bizarre events start to unfold. Be it magical powers manifesting or the world turning into chocolate, Sasami's life becomes a Kafkaesque journey that leaves her questioning the sanity of her universe. Is it the isolating influence of her online life that's twisting her perception, or is the cosmos truly spiralling into madness? Sasami-san@Ganbaranai is a whimsical exploration of life through the digital looking glass, where the ordinary turns extraordinary and nothing is as it seems.
