Plot
Based on the true story of Project Blue Book, the U.S. Air Force’s years-long investigation of UFOs, astrophysicist Jay Allen Hynek travels across America to study sightings and incidents of contact with unexplained objects in the sky and possible human-alien encounters. He is joined by Captain Michael Quinn, a decorated war veteran and former World War II pilot. Hynek starts out as the ultimate skeptic. As he delves into the increasingly bizarre and inexplicable evidence, however, he evolves toward becoming a UFO believer. Captain Quinn is modeled after the real-life Captain Edward Ruppelt who was Project Blue Book director.
