In the grimy underbelly of Manchester, a band of police officers find themselves battling not just local crime, but their own existential questions. They find themselves thrust into a ceaseless war against the city's seedy elements, a task daunting enough to crush even the most spirited newcomer. Yet, they are in this force for a reason. Inspectress Vivienne Deering, their hard-bitten, quick-witted leader, steers the ship with an iron will. Alongside her capable lieutenants, DC Dinah Kowalski and DC Joy Freers, they form a formidable barrier against the relentless tide of riff-raff that floods in from the local estates. Together, they commit to the herculean task of keeping these streets pristine, unmasking the fuddled, the flashy, the flesh-traders, the petty offenders, and the truly vile villains for the vermin they truly are. The show, No Offence, showcases their struggles against crime and their never-ending quest for justice in a city that seemingly never sleeps nor cleanses itself of its darker hues.
