In the peculiar world of Ninja Nonsense, we find Shinobu, a female novice ninja, ensconced in a training academy thick with anonymous male ninjas and her eccentric, shape-shifting companion, Onsokumaru, a being of indefinable origin with lascivious tendencies. Life takes an ordinary twist when she encounters high-schooler Kaede during an unusual mission - to pilfer her undergarments, an absurd part of her ninja examination orchestrated by Onsokumaru. Struggling to pass even this bizarre task, Shinobu is met with unexpected kindness when Kaede, empathizing with the stress of tests, gifts her a pair of her underwear. From this intimate encounter, an unlikely camaraderie blossoms, pulling Kaede into the whimsical whirl of ninja academics. Here, traditional training often falls by the wayside, replaced by a laid-back lifestyle full of lounging, television binging, indulging in tasty treats, and abundant merrymaking.
