My Mad Fat Diary (2013)

Rae's a teenager struggling with some severe mental health issues. She's already spent four months in a hospital after a suicide attempt, but few around her except her family know the circumstances surrounding it. Her best friend Chloe welcomes her back with open arms, but neither her or her other friends understand what Rae's going through. They don't know that she was in the hospital much less that she had committed suicide. While the girls try their best, Rae's body image issues and mental health struggles make it difficult. But they stay with her through the ups and downs of recovery.
