Plot
The death of 16 people by a lunatic driving a luxury car gained huge headlines in the time. But few people today think of the mysterious killer who was dubbed Mr. Mercedes. Bill Hodges is the exception. The retired detective has an itch he can't scratch about the case he never solved — but when he pokes his nose up to investigate, he gets the attention of some dangerous people. Brady Hartsfield is a young but genius psychopath with his sights set on Hodges. The killer wants to make a name for himself, and he's willing to use Hodges to do it.
