Merlí (2015)

This is a Spanish comedy/drama about a philosophy teacher named Merli who tries to introduce philosophical thinking to his students. His unorthodox teaching methods are unique, and each episode is named after a philosopher as the theme of the day. He takes the teachings and methods of the philosophers to solve his student’s current problems. Some of the philosophers he covers are Socrates, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer and Hume. The series also covers his personal life as he was fired from his professorial job and became a high school teacher and has to live with his mother and raise his son.

Merlí is a comedy show featuring Francesc Orella and created by Héctor Lozano.
