Plot
In the pulsating heart of the city, Jo Seok-Moo (Cha Tae-Hyun), a university laureate, forsakes the conventional path to chase the elusive dream of music. Time, however, proves to be a cruel muse, leaving him bereft of his ambitions and without a worthy job due to his increasing years. Fortune turns his way when he stumbles upon employment at a security service company, and there, he cross paths with the ebullient Kang Whee-Roo (Bae Doo-Na).
Their unlikely encounter sparks a fascinating love story that culminates in a 3-year marriage. But, as the sheen of romance wears off, Jo Seok-Moo, a stubborn loner by nature, finds himself grappling with their stark differences and impulsively demands a divorce. Kang Whee-Roo, with her easy-going demeanor and unwavering positivity, seems to inhabit a world far removed from his solitude.
Just as their lives seem to spiral into chaos, enter the enigmatic couple, Jin Yoo-Young (Lee El) and Lee Jang-Hyun (Son Suk-Ku). Their unexpected arrival sends ripples through the narrative, especially when it's revealed that Jin Yoo-Young, now entwined in her own marital saga, was Jo Seok-Moo's first love. "Matrimonial Chaos" is a rich tapestry of interwoven lives and love stories, with surprises lurking at every turn.
