Plot

On the precipice of adulthood, a motley crew of young individuals find themselves under the same roof in 'Lonely Enough to Love'. This engaging tale explores the paradox of modern love, where the desire for freedom and companionship exist in a delicate balance. Amidst this emotional conundrum, we meet Cha Kang-Woo (Ji Hyun-Woo), a charismatic psychiatrist in his 30s. Haunted by the specters of his past, he is intrigued by the human condition yet petrified of romantic entanglements. The co-living house, a melting pot of hopes and fears, also shelters Lee Na-Eun (Kim So-Eun), a freelance copy editor with an unyielding spirit. She is a beacon of kindness in a world skewed by injustice and harbors dreams of becoming a novelist. Her romantic life, however, has been stagnant for four years, a byproduct of circumstances that life has thrown her way. As their paths intertwine within the shared walls of the house, the story unravels the complexities of their sentiments. The duo, like their housemates, wrestles with their yearning to date but shies away from the commitment it entails. They relish their independence, yet the solitude gnaws at them. 'Lonely Enough to Love' is a poignant narrative about young hearts navigating the labyrinth of love and loneliness, where the longing for connection and the allure of freedom coexist in a tumultuous harmony.
