In the tranquil vistas of Yamanashi, after relocating from Shizuoka, we meet high schooler Nadeshiko, a girl drawn by the allure of the iconic Mount Fuji - a vision of majesty etched on the humble 1000 yen bill. Determined, she undertakes a bicycle journey, hoping to witness the mountain's grandeur up close, only to be thwarted by an unexpected turn in the weather. Her dream unfulfilled, Nadeshiko succumbs to fatigue and faints midway, awakening in the heart of an unfamiliar night, lost and disoriented. It's in this moment of despair that she crosses paths with Rin, a solitary camper who's as mysterious as the wilderness itself. This tale of outdoor adventures and self-discovery unfurls with the first serendipitous meeting between Nadeshiko and Rin, setting the stage for a narrative that's as breathtaking as the landscapes they traverse. Laid-Back Camp invites us to lose ourselves in the enchanting simplicity of nature, illuminated by the glow of friendship and the thrill of exploration.
