Plot
Batman's villains get the chance to shine in this prequel series that shows Gotham when Bruce Wayne was just a child. Lieutenant Jim Gordon has is a new arrival to the GCPD, but he can already smell the stink on the force. The GCPD is corrupt, complacent, and unprepared for the flood of criminal lunatics who are going to set up roots in the city. As Batman's eventual nemeses first come into their own, young Bruce Wayne is grappling with the death of his parents and developing the perspectives that will eventually lead him on a quest for vengeance and justice.
