Fleabag (2016)

From the creator of TV's "Crashing" and "Killing Eve," this series focuses on a titular character, known only as "Fleabag," a free-spirited, acerbic, sexually expressive woman who has no filter, as she navigates life as well as love in London while coping with the recent death of her BFF and business partner. The serial, which is based on Waller-Bridge's 2013 one-woman show, depicts the angry, bereaved woman attempting to piece her life back together in the face of tragedy while sabotaging new alliances and indulging in her self-destructive tendencies. One element of its uniqueness stems from "Fleabag" frequently breaking the fourth wall to speak directly to the audience.
