Fate/Stay Night (2006)

Otherwise ordinary teenager Shirou Emiya finds himself involved in a deadly tournament known as the Fifth Holy Grail War purely by happenstance, but he now finds himself caught in the crossfire between some of the world's most capable sorcerers. The stakes are high, as the winner is granted the opportunity to have a wish granted. But while Shirou is poorly equipped to be involved in such a fight alone, he finds an ally in the form of Saber. As a modern personification of the legendary King Arthur, she's dedicated to defending Shirou and helping lead him to victory in battle.
