Plot

In the backdrop of a world teetering on the edge, "EastSiders", a compelling creation by award-winning playwright Kit Williamson, delves into the chaotic aftermath of infidelity in a gay relationship. Silverlake becomes the tumultuous stage where Cal (Kit Williamson) grapples with the revelation of Thom's (Van Hansis) unfaithfulness, with Jeremy (Matthew McKelligon) playing the third corner of this love triangle. As lies and deceit pervade their relationship, the question that looms large is whether they will crumble under their weight or find the resilience to endure. This dark comedy vividly portrays the paradox of life's tragicomic situations, brimming with drunken tirades and glaring double standards. Cal isn't alone in his struggle, as his steadfast friend Kathy (Constance Wu), armed with an ever-ready bottle of whiskey, remains his rock. Yet, Kathy's life is far from tranquil. She battles her own demons, grappling with imagined issues in her relationship with her endearing boyfriend, Ian (John Halbach). Adding to this rich tapestry of characters is Stephen Guarino, starring as a flamboyant party promoter orchestrating one final, unforgettable extravaganza before civilization's curtain call.
