Derek Noakes is a 50-something British man going on his third year working as an aide in a nursing home. His kind and caring attitude along with a selfless approach to life make him well-qualified for the often-grueling task of caring for elderly residents in an environment where budget cuts loom constantly, and co-workers are not enthused about their jobs as is Derek. Derek’s quirky personality has some thinking he is autistic or mentally challenged in some way while others believe he’s just a guy with an eccentric personality. Is Derek crazy or crazy like a fox?
