She is driven by a single cryptic purpose - to collect the dispersed remains of the fallen Emperor Gaz. Chaika's path intertwines with Toru Acura, a skilled Saboteur now struggling to find work in a world shattered by the collapse of the Gaz Empire. Toru's survival hinges on his adoptive sister, Akari, who provides for their sustenance. When Chaika crosses paths with Toru in the tranquil depths of the forest, she offers him a purpose, a chance to escape his aimless existence.
