Tiff Chester has big ambitions — but until she's paid her way through psychology school, she's making a living as a dominatrix. She doesn't have much experience in the industry, but she enlists the help of her gay friend Pete Devin to serve as her assistant. Pete has his own ambitions to be a stand-up comic even though his stage fright continually gets in the way. But while Tiff sees it as a job, Pete's discovery of the BDSM community opens him up to a world that may be able to offer him the sense of purpose and belonging that he's always craved.
