Kurosaki Ichigo, an ordinary high school student, has an extraordinary ability: the power to see ghosts. Although he’s had this talent for as long as he can remember, he harnesses it in an entirely new way when he meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper who fights against evil spirits called Hollows. With Rukia’s help, Ichigo discovers his true purpose of protecting both the living and the dead from evil with his newfound abundance of spiritual energy.
