Berserk (1997)

Guts has spent his entire life training as a swordsman, and that's allowed him to develop into a highly competent mercenary who sometimes struggles to get along with the people around him. When he joins up with a mercenary band known as the Order of the Hawk, Guts is suddenly in a position of upward mobility. But while they may have won the trust of the king and the honor of serving as his personal guard, Guts and his compatriots will learn that being that close to ultimate power isn't all that it's cut out to be.
