Plot

"Beautiful World" is a riveting tale of two families whose lives are entwined in the tumultuous aftermath of a shocking incident of school violence. The story follows Park Moo Jin and Kang In Ha, a devoted married couple living a blissful life as a high school teacher and bakery owner respectively, cherishing every moment with their two children. However, their tranquil existence is shattered when their son, Park Sun Ho, a third-year middle school student, falls prey to a brutal school attack, leaving him critically injured. In this desperate time, the couple embarks on a relentless quest to uncover the truth behind the assault that nearly cost their son's life. Meanwhile, their daughter, Park Soo Ho, studying in the same school, also takes it upon herself to unearth the sinister secrets surrounding her brother's ordeal. On the opposite end of the spectrum are Oh Jin Pyo and Seo Eun Joo, a wealthy couple who have never tasted defeat, owing to their privileged upbringing. Oh Jin Pyo presides over a private school foundation, a legacy passed down by his family. Their perfect life takes a dramatic turn when their son, Oh Joon Seok, stirs the pot with his misbehavior at school. Driven by the fear of societal disgrace, the couple goes to extreme lengths to cover up their son's transgressions. As the truth unravels, both families find themselves in a convoluted web of deceit and desperation. Their contrasting paths intersect in a complex narrative, each family battling their own demons as they strive to discover their version of a 'beautiful world'. This engrossing series is a poignant exploration of the darkest corners of society and the undying hope of finding light within them.
