Plot
Michael Britten is forced to adapt to not just one but two tragedies. After a horrible accident leaves Britten split between two realities, he learns that the only way to keep his family together is to somehow reconcile them. His wife died in one reality, while his son died in the other. Keeping both realities together is difficult, but it's worth it to Michael. But it offers both challenges and new avenues of exploration for his new job. Britten is a police detective, and he has to deal with his everyday workload while trying to come to terms with his new and bizarre circumstances.
