In the vibrant heart of Akihabara, where whimsical hobbies and peculiar entertainments reign, arrives Nagomi Wahira, a youthful dreamer yearning to be part of a maid café. The spring of 1999 sees her stepping into café Ton Tokoton, affectionately known as the Pig Hut, donning an apron and embracing her role with gusto. Yet, the bustling streets of Akihabara present challenges beyond serving tea and charming patrons. Alongside the stern-faced Ranko, who seems to have forgotten the art of smiling, Nagomi endeavors to propel the Pig Hut to the pinnacle of maid café supremacy. Amid the frills, excitement, and unique ambiance of the Pig Hut, Nagomi carves out her own niche. But as she reaches for her dreams, she stumbles upon hidden layers beneath the colorful surface of Akihabara's maid cafés, proving that not all is as enchanting as it first appears.
