Plot

In a world where appearances are deceptive, Jordi, a diligent schoolboy, grapples with two jobs - a hospital cleaner during the day and a car-wash attendant under the twinkling stars. Despite his taxing schedule, he remains a pillar of support for his classmates, particularly the ungrateful Melissa. With her affluent background and a father who disparages Jordi's humble origins, Melissa is a paradoxical blend of emotional fragility and haughty entitlement. Her only salvation and talent lies in her mesmerizing dance moves. When an opportunity to twirl in a music video emerges, Melissa succumbs to the allure of fame, casting aside Jordi's steadfast loyalty. She immerses herself in a whirlpool of ecstasy and dance, seduced by the promise of 'enhancing' her performance. As she intertwines with the other dancers, she spirals deeper into the abyss of substance abuse, transforming her life into a living nightmare. Once a vibrant dreamer, Melissa becomes a social and medical catastrophe, her spirit sapped by her toxic companions. In a twist of fate, her disdainful father finds himself pleading with Jordi, the boy he once scorned, to rescue his daughter from her self-inflicted hell. As Melissa's true friends rally to save her, the question remains - is it too late for redemption? In "XTC Just Don't Do It", the shimmering world of dance and the grimy underbelly of substance abuse collide, challenging the characters to navigate the murky waters of temptation, betrayal, and salvation.
