Wildfire (1988)

In the hallowed halls of a boarding school, two young orphans, Kay and Dave, cross paths. Their connection is immediate, their bond unbreakable, seemingly destined for a shared future. Yet, at the tender age of sixteen, Dave's misguided attempt at bank robbery with a mere water pistol lands him behind bars for eight long years. In Dave's absence, Kay finds solace in a new life, fostered by loving parents. She crosses paths with Mike, a successful businessman.
