In the rugged landscapes of the R-Bar-R ranch, two cowhands, Ross Bodine and Frank Post, find themselves at life's crossroads. Bodine, the older of the two, contemplates his twilight years, fearing a future where his cowboy days are behind him. Post, on the other hand, is a fiery young man, restless and yearning for a life beyond the confines of cow wrangling. When tragedy strikes their ranch, claiming the life of a fellow cowboy in a chilling corral accident, Post sees an opportunity for change.
