In the aftermath of a stormy night, the fishermen of Gaza find their nets laden with more than just the usual catch. Among them, Jafaar, an impoverished fisherman, makes a most unsettling discovery - a pig, an animal deemed impure by both his Islamic faith and the Jewish religion. Suddenly burdened with this 'forbidden' creature, Jafaar embarks on a desperate mission to offload his unexpected burden. His journey takes him from attempting a sale to a United Nations representative to visiting a Jewish settlement where Yelena, who rears pigs not for their meat but for security purposes, resides. However, navigating through a world of discerning Palestinian brothers, vigilant Israeli soldiers, and watchful Islamic fundamentalists with a taboo animal is no easy feat. As Jafaar ventures further, he finds himself entangled in a web of comedic misadventures, each more outrageous than the last, in this heartwarming tale of humanity and perseverance.
