In the lawless landscape of the wild west, a recent train robbery has the town's folks on edge, and all fingers point towards Lucky Webster (Fred Kohler Jr.). Just as the questioning heats up, an unexpected ally, Tom Allen (Tom Keene), arrives at Lucky's ranch to vouch for his innocence. Unbeknownst to the townspeople, Tom is a U.S. Marshal working undercover with Sheriff Big Bill Collins (Glenn Strange) to infiltrate the nefarious gang Lucky is secretly part of. Lucky's unsuspecting sister, Julie (Jean Trent), finds herself tangled in this intricate web of deceit, unwittingly putting Tom's life at risk. Meanwhile, Tom grows suspicious of Jeff Gordon (LeRoy Mason), the bank president and seemingly respected citizen. He believes Jeff to be in cahoots with the gang, masterminding the mail train robberies.
