Plot

In the haunting post-Civil War era of 1872 Georgia, a midnight train rumbles towards Atlanta carrying a diverse trio of passengers, each hiding their own burning secrets. Jericho Whitfield, a fiercely intelligent ex-slave, boards this spectral locomotive carrying the weight of a heartrending mission. His sole aim is to exact a ruthless eye for an eye revenge on Annie Hargraves, the defiant, streetwise daughter of his former master – the man who brutally murdered his own child. However, protecting young Annie is the formidable Roland Bursley, a hardened mercenary with a reputation as vicious as the southern heat. His duty is to safeguard her on this perilous voyage, even as he remains oblivious to the deadly intentions of the seemingly silent passenger, Jericho. But as the wheels thunder over the tracks, the three soon discover that the chilling whispers of danger come not from each other, but from a far more sinister force aboard. The very train they boarded in hope, despair, and duty is haunted by a shadowy presence that seeks to claim them all. Bound by their shared terror, the gunslinger, the vengeful father, and the runaway must bury their differences and unite against this malevolent entity. As the darkness presses in and the train races on, they must fight not only for their survival, but also for their redemption on this midnight journey to Atlanta. West of Hell unfurls a tale of vengeance, fear, and unlikely alliances, creating a riveting narrative as relentless as the train itself.
