In the year 1998, the cosmos is stirred by the cataclysmic aftermath of a meteor collision and the ensuing explosion of a Venus-bound rocket. A trio of astronauts - Kern, Sherman and their faithful robot John - are catapulted on a daring journey to explore the smouldering inferno of Venus. However, their arrival at Space Station Texas for refueling triggers a series of unforeseen complications, leaving them stranded on the alien planet. Their silence from the other side of the galaxy prompts a rescue mission, led by the valiant Commander Brendan Lockhart, Andre Ferneau, and Hans Walter.
