Plot

In the eerie heart of the English countryside, there exists an uncanny sliver of forest, thick with otherworldly tales and spectral phantoms. Amidst this supernatural wilderness, two ageless vampiric entities, Fran and Miriam, hold court in their regal manor, their existence woven into the very fabric of the local lore. Their macabre lifestyle thrives on wicked sado-masochism, an insatiable thirst for crimson life-fluid, and the fragile mortal they keep imprisoned in their shadow-steeped basement. However, the static rhythm of their deathless days is disrupted as an unsuspecting group of energetic campers venture too close to their ominous abode, their vitality pulsating with the promise of fresh blood. Lured by the irresistible allure of the vampyres, the campers unknowingly stumble onto a path of alluring darkness and horror. Directed by Victor Matellano, Vampyres is a chilling reimagination of Joseph Larraz's 1974 cult classic. This film offers a heady blend of raw eroticism, unadulterated gore, and a blood-chilling narrative that serves as a stark reminder: some legends are more than just whispers in the dark. As the campers' quest for truth unfolds, they face the undeniable reality of their fate, a fate stitched with sexual tension and a terror that pierces the very marrow of their bones. Vampyres is an exploration of fear, lust, and the inescapable allure of the unknown, painting a portrait of horror that is as seductive as it is horrifying. This film dares to drag you deep into the sanguinary seduction of the vampyres, where each heartbeat could be your last.
