U Turn (1997)

Caught in the heart of a desolate desert, Bobby, a man fleeing the haunting specter of his past, finds himself marooned in a peculiar town when his car breathes its last. The town, a surreal place where normality has seemingly evaporated, is filled with inhabitants stranger than any characters he's previously encountered. With a desperation to leave but the crippling lack of funds to revive his broken car, Bobby finds himself entangled in a disturbingly alluring trap. An elderly man, carrying the scent of desperation, offers Bobby the chance to earn his escape: kill his captivating, young wife. The proposition, although horrifying, begins to take root in Bobby's mind, fueled by his desperate situation. However, the radiant wife, wielding a hypnotic charm, ensnares Bobby in her own twisted plot. Unbeknownst to him, she is not the innocent victim she portrays herself to be. She offers him a counter-deal, a flip of the coin: get rid of her husband instead. The stakes are no longer just about his car or escape from the town. They're about survival in this bizarre game spun by a couple bent on outwitting each other. As the plot thickens in this eerie desert town, Bobby finds himself caught in a deadly U-turn of deceit and murder.
