On an eerie Halloween night, five years after a malicious plot orchestrated by his wife Joan had him unjustly committed to a mental institution, Malcolm, a man wronged and incensed, makes his daring escape. His destination: the familiar walls of his old home, harboring a singular, chilling purpose - to exact his revenge on Joan. However, Joan is conspicuously absent, enjoying the night's revelries with her new beau, leaving their 10-year-old son Christopher in the care of an unsuspecting babysitter, Linda. Unbeknownst to her, Christopher is not just an ordinary child, but a mischievous mastermind of relentless pranks, his antics fueled by a demented sense of humor eerily reminiscent of his father's own psychosis.
