Plot

In the shadow of an ancient Inca temple, seven archaeologists stumble upon a curse as old as the civilization itself. Spiraling into a mysterious slumber, they awaken only for fleeting moments each day, their minds haunted by hallucinations of an Inca deity. The saga unfolds in Europe, with the sixth archaeologist succumbing to the curse's sleep, induced by a crystal ball hurled into his car by the enigmatic Indios. With the last archaeologist seeking refuge with Tintin and Haddock at Moulinsart, a brewing thunderstorm plunges their world into darkness. The crafty Indios seize this moment to strike, putting the final explorer to sleep and abducting Professor Tournesol, who had unwittingly defiled the sanctuary by donning the sacred Inca bracelet. In a desperate bid to save their friend, Tintin and Haddock embark on a thrilling chase that takes them to the heart of Peru. They traverse treacherous snowy mountains and dense jungles, eventually unearthing the enigmatic Temple of the Sun. However, their discovery leads to their capture and they are presented with a chilling choice - select the day they wish to be incinerated by the sun's unforgiving rays. Cleverly manipulating a solar eclipse, Tintin navigates their way out of this predicament. In a dramatic turn of events, he secures the Inca's forgiveness, breaking the archaeologists' curse and liberating Tournesol, bringing an exhilarating close to their South American adventure.
