This Is England (2006)

The personality of youth culture in 1980s England is tribal, and one young boy finds a sense of belonging in a group of skinheads. Out of a sense of belonging more than a sense of actual hatred, he finds himself indoctrinated into the racism and sexism of the skinhead movement and increasingly gets drawn into performing acts of violence and destruction for the sake of impressing his friends. But the boys are just lashing out at a society that's dealing with massive poverty and unemployment. It might seem impossible for anything but more violence to ever come out of this young man's trajectory.
