In the heart of Madrid, the vibrant Spanish capital, resides Marina, a successful wedding planner with a cynical view on love. This perspective is rooted in her childhood, where she witnessed infidelity shatter her parents' marriage. Despite her disillusionment, Marina thrives in the business of love, running a successful wedding planning company alongside her confidante Irene and her mother, Lourdes. Marina's world takes an unexpected turn during one of her assignments when she harbors a fleeting romantic encounter with Carlos, a charming guest. They indulge in their intense chemistry, assuming it's a one-time affair. However, when Carlos's girlfriend, Alexia, stumbles upon Marina's business card, Carlos finds himself entangled in a web of lies, convincing Alexia he plans to propose. Complications escalate further when it's revealed that Alexia and Marina share a tumultuous past, with Alexia being Marina's former school tormentor.
