In the year 1966, nestled in the tranquil town of North Bend, Oregon, a rebel by the name of Kristen finds herself ensnared by the local authorities after setting a farmhouse ablaze. Her actions land her in the cold, confining walls of the North Bend Psychiatric Hospital. Here, she crosses paths with the enigmatic Dr. Gerald Stringer, a man known for his unconventional therapeutic methods. Kristen is thrust into the midst of an eerie sisterhood consisting of Emily, Sarah, Zoey, and Iris, all under the strict supervision of the unyielding Nurse Lundt. As night falls and the sterile tiles of the shower room become her sanctuary, Kristen is haunted by apparitions of a woman. She eventually discovers this spectral figure is Alice Leigh Hudson, a once sinister patient of the hospital who vanished without a trace. The tranquility of the hospital is shattered when Iris, on the brink of release, suffers a terrifying encounter with Alice's ghost in the labyrinthine basement, resulting in her untimely death and disappearance. The remaining patients, driven by dread and desperation, embark on a dangerous mission to locate Iris. However, one by one, they fall victim to the vengeful spirit of Alice. In the midst of the chaos, Kristen manages to slip away from her confines, crossing paths with Zoey. Believing Zoey to be the next target, Kristen races to safeguard her. But the ghost of Alice proves to be one step ahead, abducting Zoey. A desperate Kristen finds herself in Dr. Stringer's office, where she stumbles upon a chilling report revealing the disturbing truth about Alice. The tapestry of horror woven by the intangible threads of the past comes to light, leaving Kristen in a nerve-wrecking fight for survival.
