The Vampire Lovers (1970)

In the shadowy realms of Styria, Austria, a lavish party hosted by General von Spielsdorf is disrupted by a countess's sudden departure to attend to a sick relative. In her stead, she leaves her enigmatic daughter, Marcilla, in the care of the General. As Marcilla weaves herself into the fabric of the household, she forms a peculiar friendship with the General's daughter, Laura. A string of chilling nightmares soon claims Laura, who succumbs to an inexplicable anemia, her life force seemingly drained away. As abruptly as she arrived, Marcilla disappears, leaving behind a cloud of suspicion and sorrow. The countess, a master of deceit, stages a carriage accident, thrusting Marcilla, now operating under the alias Carmilla, into the wealthy Morton household. Emma Morton, the family's young innocent, becomes her next fascination.
