In the reflective shadows of his aristocratic past, Li Yueh, a once revered knight, forsakes his identity, his sword, and the woman he cherishes, to escape the consequences of assassinating a corrupt official—the man responsible for his father's untimely end. Now living a discreet life as a humble stable-hand in a quaint country tavern, Li believes he's left his past behind. But fate, ever the cunning trickster, has a different plan.
