Plot

In the nebulous corners of her urban neighborhood, young Enola Penny finds herself captivated by the spectral allure of a seemingly forsaken theatre. One fateful evening, she discovers the front door ajar and, driven by a surge of curiosity, ventures into its shadowy depths. There, amidst the crumbling grandeur of the auditorium, she becomes an unwitting spectator of a performance that defies the ordinary. Her guide through this macabre spectacle is the unsettling human puppet, Peg Poett, who weaves a tapestry of six tales that traverse the strange and grotesque. A couple's idyllic journey through the isolated French Pyrenees converges with the path of a lascivious witch; a lover on the edge of paranoia experiences the fury of a partner stretched beyond her breaking point; the adulterous dreams of an unfaithful spouse blur the boundaries of illusion and reality; a child's innocence becomes a prism through which the horrors of the world are refracted; a woman with an insatiable craving for others' memories feeds her addiction through the vitreous fluid of her victims' eyes; and a shared infatuation with confections takes a bitter turn for a couple embroiled too deeply in their obsession. However, as the narratives unravel, Enola finds herself caught in a labyrinth of an even more bewildering reality. A reality that is dreadfully irreversible, and lies in wait for its next unsuspecting audience in the labyrinthine corridors of THE THEATRE BIZARRE.
