In the chilling anthology "Creepshow 3," the veil between reality and the macabre is tantalizingly thin. This successor to the George Romero/Stephen King-helmed series plunges viewers into five fresh tales of terror, each bound together in a sinister tapestry. In "Alice," we meet a petulant suburban teenager, disdainful of her monotonous neighborhood. A universal remote, the brainchild of the enigmatic Professor Dayton, becomes her ticket to a surreal journey through parallel dimensions. But every trip has a price, and Alice returns, not as a girl, but a rabbit, forgotten by her own family. Next, "The Radio" tells the tale of Jerry, a security guard enticed by a radio—another of Professor Dayton's eerie creations. This communicative device guides Jerry on a perilous path, instructing him to steal a substantial fortune, eliminate his petty criminal neighbors and flee to a new city. His fatal mistake? Inviting a prostitute, Eva, to join him and destroying the radio, leading to an unforeseen, tragic consequence. In the sensuous and deadly "Call Girl," we encounter Rachel, a professional escort with a lethal secret—she's a serial killer. When the eccentric Victor hires her, he meets a grim end during their intimate encounter. But as Rachel discovers, there is more to Victor than meets the eye. "The Professor's Wife" introduces us to Professor Dayton’s fiancée, Kathy, through the eyes of his two best former students, Charles and John. Convinced that Kathy is an android creation of the professor, they decide to disassemble her, leading to an unforgettable dinner party. Finally, "Haunted Dog" delves into the life of Dr. Farwell, a cruel and negligent doctor working in a free clinic. After knowingly feeding a homeless man a tainted hot-dog, he soon finds himself tormented by a spectral beggar seeking justice from beyond the grave. "Creepshow 3" is a shiver-inducing carousel of horror where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and the consequences of actions reverberate with a supernatural echo. Each tale explores the eerie edges of reality, promising viewers a journey into the heart of darkness.
