Plot

Caught in the aftermath of a deadly heist, Curtis Hook is the only survivor from a criminal trio who stole $1.5 million and a substantial amount of heroin from a formidable organized crime syndicate. Eluding death but not the law, Hook is apprehended by the police, having already secreted away the stolen fortune and ditched the illegal narcotics. His conviction rests on minor offenses, and with a sense of audacious optimism, he believes his stay behind bars will be short-lived. But the law enforcement is not fooled, aware of his leading role in the heist and the brutal elimination of his cohorts. Inside the prison walls, danger and tension simmer. The crime syndicate's boss, an inmate sharing the same confines, has a lucrative bounty on Hook's head. The authorities, conversely, angle for a plea bargain, offering protection from the syndicate's wrath in exchange for the location of the money and drugs. However, Hook stands his ground, claiming ignorance about any fortune or narcotics. As the pressure mounts, Hook is thrust into the heart of a brewing race war, with Glover, the puppet of the manipulative veteran inmate Capiello, leading the white prisoners, and Macey spearheading the black inmates. To add to the chaos, the corrupt Captain Otis Stambell, the prison's head security guard, is also hot on the trail of the ill-gotten treasures. In a cruel twist of fate, Hook learns that the location where he has hidden the loot is set for demolition, forcing him to expedite his escape plans. Trapped in a deadly maze of treachery, racial conflict, and corruption, Hook must navigate the treacherous tides of prison life to claim his fortune and secure his freedom before the walls close in.
