Plot

In the heart of Brazil, two ambitious young women, Barbara (Larissa Manoela) and Talia (Thati Lopes), set their sights on an audacious adventure - becoming exchange students in the USA. Completely oblivious to the cultural turbulence and hurdles that lay ahead, they jet off to their new lives. Barbara, whose dreams always danced around the skyscrapers of New York City, finds herself in the rustic charm of Woodstock, a full two hours north of her dream destination. Thrown into an unfamiliar world far from the pampering of her mother's home, Barbara finds herself under the watchful eyes of her stern sponsor, Sheryll (Kathy-Ann Hart), navigating the intricacies of housework and child-care. Simultaneously, the fearless Talia lands in the heartland of the patriotic, holding strong to her free spirit amidst a conservative host couple. Their paths intersect with the charismatic Brad (David James), a flight attendant with an inexplicable love for Brazil, and Lucas (Bruno Montaleone), a fellow Brazilian working at the nearby Ski Station. Despite the trials and tribulations, the quartet cultivates an unbreakable bond, discovering love, friendship, and a treasure trove of unforgettable moments in this whimsical tale of exploration and self-discovery.
