Plot

In the gritty underbelly of a city pulsating with vice, we discover Mr. Ogata, an unassuming pornographer creating two risqué films daily while adeptly evading the prying eyes of the local mob. His life, a convoluted web of contrasting emotions and relationships, is as intriguing as it is disquieting. Ogata is a man deeply enamored with his sickly wife, Haru, who is haunted by the relentless specter of her deceased first husband. He also maintains an affair with a mistress while navigating the tribulations of a growing step-son desiring university education and a blossoming step-daughter on the cusp of womanhood. His illicit passion for his step-daughter stirs the pot of an already complex life when Haru uncovers these unsettling advances. In a startling turn of events, she suggests he wed the girl, even transferring her business to him. However, Ogata's world spirals into chaos when he squanders Haru's nest egg to equip he and his companions with their own film processing lab. The narrative of Ogata's life unfolds amidst a tapestry of surreal imagery and peculiar happenings, painting a picture as provocative as the films he produces.
